CENTRAL SIERRA HELICOPTER MEET.
We are getting ready for our third annual Helicopter Meet and are very
proud to say this is the only all Helicopter Meet in the west, completely focused
on Experimental and Home Built Helicopters. But, all Factory built
Helicopters are very welcome and invited to participate.
NOTE: The Central Sierra Helicopter Meet takes place rain or shine.
Bring your ships, share your ideas, bring your photo book, even if you don't
bring a ship. Ships can be flown into the site or Pine Mountain Lake Airport. They can also be trailered in and flown at the meet. Either way, we love to have all the ships possible. It's great to meet all the other builders, and see their builds.
Seminars are anticipated and we are interested in hearing from anyone who would like to give a demonstration or semenar.
During our first year Stu Fieldsfrom Experimental Helicopter Magazine gave a very captivating seminar on
blade balancing.
The Heli-Chair Emulator was on site, with most trying their hand at flying this simulator/trainer. Check out Kas' video of last year's event.
Camping is on site. Alden Johnson on his motorcycle all the way from Washington state, brought his tent. Others bring tents, trailers and motor homes.
